民国初期，南方各省响应孙中山广州国民革命政府参与针对军阀的北伐，福建、广西、贵州等省跟着广东省一起铸造了中华民国二毫银币。而广东省则从民国元年就开始铸造了广东省造中华民国元年一毫银币和二毫银币，并且连续从元年到十三年铸造了十一个年份，除了五年和六年之外，都有铸造。民国银元是近代中国钱币中的精品，有着历史熏陶，是价值很高的革命文物。

此藏品为广东省造中华民国九年贰毫银币，重：5.3g 径：23.6mm 厚：1.5mm，钱币正反面皆以珠圈将币面分为两部分，珠圈内铸刻楷书“贰毫银币”字样，上下右左分列其中，字体端庄工整，正中央有凸起圆点。珠圈外上端铸刻“中华民国九年”六字，左右以小花饰之，雅致活泼，下端铸“广东省造”四字，字迹清晰，挺拔秀美。钱币背面同样珠圈内铸刻阿拉伯数字“20”纪值，珠圈外上端镌刻“广东省”英文字样，左右同正面相同刻小花饰之，下端铸有英文币值，此件藏品品相完好，形制规整，质地优良，字体笔法流畅，纹饰刻制工细。此种小面额银币存世量稀少。
